Not for a lost phone, in the case I am talking about it’s especially produced for parents to track their teenaged kid’s whereabouts.
@Bear: Thanks, and yes the parents are paying for the telephone and program so they have the proper to place what ever LBJesque spyware on it they want, except what if they MAKE you take your telephone with you simply because they never want to track the phone they want to track YOU and if they could they would insert the tracker straight into your brain. And some parents have ridiculous tips of what tends to make a kid call for tracking.

The FCC regulates transmissions in general. If a transmitter is legally transmitting,then it is a violation of the law to jam that transmission. So the question about spy technologies depends on regardless of whether it is a legal transmission.

In this case I would presume that the transmitting gear is itself either licensed or listed as exempt by the FCC (nearly constantly the latter). So you can’t just block all transmissions. Nevertheless if it is utilized as a “spy” camera then it transmitting from inside a private facility or residence and the owner of the premises would be permitted to jam the signal in so far as it did not jam other reputable signals on the very same frequency.

Not SMS text messages. The regular text messages. And the name of the person that the # is listed under in her contacts.
Answer # 1 is wrong. On your cell,you have inbox and SMS. Its not the same!
